Artist's Description

This was seriously the calm before the storm. The weather had been so nice I found these dandelion leaves sprouting between the bricks in our driveway. Thinking this was sooo cool and bragging to my firends back home in Utah, since it was February in Iceland, I grabbed my camera to document it. Well, the very next day it snowed, DUMPED SNOW. Instant karma I'm thinking:)))

Loving the secure feeling of a tree holding me, admiring the shapes and colors of his leaves and feeling the varied designs of the bark. Floating sticks and building dams with stones of all shapes and colors, I was transfixed watching the water flow over, around and past... As an adult I recapture these feelings of childish delight with every branch and twig of a tree, every leaf and stone picked up and placed in my pocket.
