About Marilynne Bull
As a child I was often found sitting in a tree, on the earth touching and talking with the plants or playing in some moving water. Loving the secure feeling of a tree holding me, admiring the shapes and colors of his leaves and feeling the varied designs of the bark. Floating sticks and building dams with stones of all shapes and colors, I was transfixed watching the water flow over, around and past... As an adult I recapture these feelings of childish delight with every branch and twig of a tree, every leaf and stone picked up and placed in my pocket. Climbing about and sitting in silence on wise, ancient, welcoming boulders, I continue to find connection with the deep blue river flowing by. My experience is that...

Beautiful. Just beautiful! To me, it provides a feeling of serenity on one hand and depicts the dichotomy between the known and the unknow on the other. Great work, Marilynne!
